City Manager Ron Miller is retiring after successful thirteen year tenure of service to Aurora. Although he rightfully credits his team, Mr. Miller’s leadership is credited for inspiring his city departments to strive for excellence. Among those efforts towards excellence is the accreditation of the Aurora Fire Department in 2000. Aurora goes before the Commission on March 9, 2010 for their second re-accreditation.
With only three accredited departments in the State of TEnnessee, Brentwood is workign towards adding themselves to that list. The City Council has approved the department to take advantage of technical advisor services from CPSE to assist in developing a community driven strategic plan.
